I was thinking of taking my 11 year old son on this trip week of 8/19/13. However, I'd like to find out what other activities do they offer for kids?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I have been on this trip and there weren't any children in that age group on the trip. There were a couple of high school kids with family. You might want to see if there is a Bridges trip which would probably be more enjoyable for an 11 year old. This is a wonderful trip but there aren't any special activities for children.

I did the Red Rocks and Painted Canyonlands with my nephew who was 10 at the time. There were many families with kids of various ages. The older kids hung out in the back of the bus when moving from one stop to another. This was a great way to show him the west and we had a great TD that did stuff with the kids.
